The Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens is home to the Elm Tree Cafe. Refreshments and light lunches are available, with indoor and outdoor dining under the shade of a giant weeping Elm.
The Elm Tree Cafe is open daily 11am – 4pm from mid June until late August or later. Hot and cold beverages, sweets, frozen treats, and light lunch items are available, with limited seating inside the Cafe, and more tables outdoors on the patio and on nearby benches.
SIGNATURE TREAT – you haven’t lived until you’ve experienced one of our homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches at the Elm Tree Cafe! Flavours like Chocolate Chip or Double Ginger are commonly up for offer. Be sure to try one for yourself!
COVID-19: We have changed our operation somewhat to address COVID-19 safety concerns. Visitors are asked to access the Cafe through the clearly marked “Entrance” door, and exit through the opposite door. Staff will fulfil your order at the counter, after which you can seat yourself to eat or wander with your coffee and snack. If there is a small line, please be patient and leave lots of space between you and the next person.
