Garden Experiences 2022
The Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens is home to a variety of unique events and activities in addition to the every day Garden experience. In 2022 we will be joining our garden colleagues across the country in celebrating Canada’s Year of the Garden. In addition to the listed events, we will host a variety of other activities and programming throughout the season. Check back often for further details and listings.
EVERY DAY (June – Sept) – Sculpture in the Gardens
In addition to some permanent artwork, each year different sculptural pieces are selected by a jury of the artists’ peers for display within the Gardens. The artists have graciously loaned and installed their sculptures, resulting in a unique marriage of contemporary sculpture and historic gardens. Some of the work is for sale – please ask our staff for details.
EVERY DAY – Scavenger Hunts for Kidz
The Gardens are a great place for kids – they enjoy the simple things in nature. To keep your youngsters engaged, ask for a scavenger hunt activity.
Our terrific Volunteer Guides are pleased to offer guided walks in the Gardens. Tour schedule is dependent on availability of volunteers. Please ask upon arrival.
