Day 174 – 23Jun2011 – Mountain Laurel

Project 365 HG – Mountain Laurel.

Day 174 – One of my favourite plants in the Gardens is the Kalmia, or Mountain Laurel. The flower buds are one of Mother Nature’s most intricate designs… geometrical masterpieces. Each then opens up into a beautiful little blossom.

This is ‘Freckles’.
