Fall colour… before the rain!

It’s been raining cats and dogs for days now… all the locals are starting to think about building an ark. So it seems a good time to look back a week or so at the beauty of autumn!

The Historic Gardens have had the most colourful fall EVER – it has been a feast for the eyes! The heavy rains have beaten things up a bit, but a lot of colour remains even still.

While I’m at it… I should recommend a couple resources for you where you can find other seasonal shots from the Gardens… for autumn and most other times too!

Our Flickr Page is a great resource – have a look and come back often!

Our Bloom Report Community Page – where our weekly Bloom Report archives reside!

And a few more pics to keep this happy mood alive before I have to go out in the rain again…

Koelreuteria paniculata (Golden Rain Tree)

Magnolia tripetala (left) and Oxydendrum (right)

Ginkgo biloba

Now… where are my water wings again?

    • Yes, the Winter Market at the Gardens is a wonderful partnership, and so appropriate! Nice to give people a reason to visit the Gardens 12 months of the year!
